| Packet | 설명 |
| ID | DAC(Device Access Code) 또는 IAC(Inquiry Access Code)로 구성된다 길이: 68 bit paging, inquiry, role switch에서 사용된다 |
| NULL | CAC(Channel Access Code)와 packet header로 구성된다 Payload가 존재하지 않는다 길이: 126 bit 전송 성공 여부 (ARQN)나 RX buffer 상태 (FLOW)에서 사용된다 수신측의 ACK가 필요없다 |
| POLL | Payload가 존재하지 않는다 수신측의 ACK가 필요하다 Central 디바이스에서 전송한다 CPB(Connectionless Peripheral Broadcast) logical transport 에서는 사용되지 않는다 |
| FHS | Piconet channel 생성되기 전이나 piconet channel 변경할 때, frequency hop 동기화에 사용된다 자세한 내용은 "FHS packet" 참고 |
| DM1 | DM1을 지원하는 logical transport 에서, control message를 전송할 때 사용된다 * 지원하는 logical transport는 "Bluetooth Packet Header에서 2. TYPE (4-bit): type code" 참고 |
